All our properties are privately owned by Ian and Rosemary Tarr, who are Licenced with Canterbury City Council, and managed by an experienced team (sixteen years,) with a full time buildings Manager and Certified gas and electrical engineers.
This means that all our students are dealing directly with us as landlords/owners and our manager, Mr. Phil Rye.
As no Estate Agent or Agency is involved, (who regularly only work Mon-Fri 9-5,) you will not be told that they will try to contact the owner (who may live abroad) to advise that your boiler is not working, you need a new bed, or that your roof is leaking. With us, a call to Phil, and the problem will be sorted.
Your house student representative, who will be elected by you, will liaise directly with our full time Manager, Phil Rye, based in Canterbury, to co-ordinate and advise on all matters requiring attention, on a 24/7 basis, which will receive immediate attention and relevant action taken.
Phil and our team (Ian and James, certified electrician and plumber) have run our quality exclusive student properties for 16 years, and will ensure that you safely and comfortably enjoy your stay with us. Check out the “testamonials” to see what our previous students thought of us!
Not having to pay Agent’s fees (up to 25%) also means that our rooms are offered at way below normally charged Sudent prices – only £70.00 per week for generous sized singles, and large double bed/study rooms at £80.00
